Who
we are: Although
new to the area our interest in catering started in 1985
under the name of Epicurean Catering around the Lake Norman
area of North Carolina. Our Training includes The Culinary
Institute of America, Johnson & Wales, Marriott and a lot
of hands on experience.
After raising
a family and leaving catering behind “ for
a short period of time” a move was made to Baltimore,
Md to pursue a new a food interest. This time it was to create
Unique Foods, an importer and redistributors of over 3000 ethnic
foods and beverages. With Unique Foods being left in the capable
hands of Ellis our youngest son my wife Brenda and I moved
to a beautiful piece of property outside of Oakland Md. to
live and yes get back to our love of catering.

Services for Wedding Receptions, Rehearsals, Breakfast,
Brunch, Lunch, Dinner, Company Picnics, Backyard BBQ’s,
and Hot & Cold Appetizer/Hors d’oeuvres. We
provide service throughout Deep Creek Lake MD and its
surrounding area with on site professional cooking and
array of services.

set together at a local restaurant. Make your reservation
with us and we bring the dinning experience to you. We
now offer delivery to your vacation home featuring complete
meals from our new Family & Friends Restaurant Menu.
These meals can be delivered hot and ready to eat or packaged
to reheat and serve later.
How
we're different: We
have elected to use the pineapple as our logo which represents
wonderful food and hospitality.
Our goal is to make each function a unique and memorable epicurean
dining experience. We always try to include personal recipes
of the Host & Hostess or create new menu items to complement
the function purpose. We feel that great tasting food can only
be improved by its presentation and service. We use only the
best ingredients available and professionally present all that
we prepare. Through our broad background of specialty foods
we can offer suggestions in using some of our specialty foods
to truly make each event unique. Also to insure the highest
level of service we utilize the best of the best local waiters,
waitresses and bartenders.
